In September 1974, when Jordi Marquet opened the delicatessen boutique, his collection comprised two ‘golden nuggets’ inherited from his grandfather: Château Mouton Rothschild 1873 and Château Mouton Rothschild 1883, the year of the grandfather’s birth. Since then, by dint of work and of passion, Maison Marquet has sought out and tracked down, bought and exchanged ‘a few’ bottles. Since then protected in a secure and controlled environment, they represent the solid heritage of Maison Marquet.
